Teamspeak 3 - Get started guide

Congratulations on your brand new Teamspeak3 Server with VillagerHost! This article will help you get started!

Please follow all steps carefully in order.

1. Start your server

Once you are logged into your control panel, start your service. Once its started, you will see a priviledgekey generated on-screen. You will need to note this down - so please keep this handy.

2. Set a custom hostname

Next, on the left hand side of your control panel, click `Free subdomain`. Here you can set your own hostname to whatever you like. You will use this to connect to your teamspeak server. Once you have entered what you would like it to be, simply click Create.

3. Login

Now you need to enter teamspeak3. Click Connections at the top left.

You will then see this screen. Under server address, enter the sub-domain you created in step 2. You can give this any Nickname you wish.

You will then be prompted for your privilege key, enter the key that you copied from step 1. This will display in your console, and will give you full admin access to the server. Once done, your server is now setup - and you have full admin access!
