All of our VillagerHost servers come with a free sub-domain, which you can change at anytime for free! This eliminates the need to use your long IP address and Port, which can be quiet annoying! This way, you can use your own custom name, and get rid of the need for the port when sharing to friends or voting sites!
Please visit the "Free Sub-Domain" tab in your VillagerHost Control Panel.
From here, enter the name that you want your sub-domain to have. For this example, we will use test. Then, click Create.
Done! You can now connect to your server through this subdomain, in this case, 'test.villagerhost.net' without the need of any ports!
Please allow up to 24 hours in extreme situations for this to update, however, we utilise CloudFlare for this service so it should propagate within minutes.
